NO GST is added to prices to any items on this website.
All prices on EVERY list are weak Australian Dollars!!
All prices are "nett" ... what you see is what you pay. NO Nasty, nasty 15%-20% Auction house "Buyer's Commission" silly nonsense is later extorted from you!

 Revenues-Cinderellas-Locals-Reprints-Essays : 450 Diff for $US50

 I just purchased a lovely accumulation of these sort of "left field" issues from a retired dealer.  He for some decades had been assembling these issues.  This kind of material is about the hottest selling thing on the stamp market wolrdwide,  as more and more collectors move into this interesting area of philately.

 With quite a bit of sorting out I have been able to assemble about FIFTY collections of these fascinating issues,  being about 450 different in each.

 Cost is only $A 95 per collection,  which right now is a tad under $US 50!  Two or three of the 19th Century postal/fiscal stamps from Victoria are valued retail at around that sum as FISCALLY USED  by Scott , so the other 445 stamps are basically 'free" on that basis!   You also get with every  parcel a set of the popular Australia "A99" IMPERFORATE mini sheets,  Scott retail $A65,  which alone are also worth about half of what the entire package costs!

  For collectors,  dealers,  or those wishing to break down and sell via circuit books or on eBay etc this collection has LOTS of potential.  I am not promising stupid or untrue things like Penny Blacks or stamps cat £10,000 in here,  but for a modest sum you WILL get very largely if not entirely the contents of this list, or other better type of stuff:

 ======================================================================

 1.  Australian States Postal  Fiscals/Revenues with some nice High Values including the popular bi-colour £5 Queen Victoria in pretty well all the first 20 or so parcels i assembled.  (One per order on that particular stamp right now)  The Scott retail price for FISCAL USED of a few 19th Century stamps of Victoria included here is over $US 50 (A$100) ALONE ..... more than the entire collection is costing you.

 2.  Local issues of Batum,  32 stamps & 7 m/sheets issued 1992.

 3.   Four complete sets each of 3 Triangulars from Rattlesnake Island, on Lake Erie, USA.  The USPS allowed these to be used as they are triangular,  and at that time USPS had never issued triangular stamps!  Initially they banned them from being carried in the mails.

 4. Fourteen complete sets inc. mini sheets from The Principality of The Hutt River Province.   The FACE value of these MUH sets is well over $60,  and retail is always face value+ in my experience.  This Principality actually exists in Western Australia and  "seceded"  from Australia in 1969 and has been issuing superb "local" stamps continuously for nearly 30 years.   It is always in the TV news etc.  It has its own passports, bestows its own Knighthoods in wonderful ceremonies,  pays and charges no tax,  and charges no GST!   Australia Post now allows these Hutt River stamps on the front of envelopes - they never used to.   A great lot,  and many are from the early to mid 1990s, when one seldom sees these offered.   A perfect sideline "instant" collection of its own,  that if I offered for $75 in ads would sell pretty well anyway based on the face value.

 5.  Australian Strike label from the 1981 Postal Strike.

 6.  Tibet Govt in Exile 1974 UPU set 4,  well printed,  with inset pictures of the present Dalai Lama.   Designed by Nelson Eustis (after a trip to personally organise it)  and Ted Roberts,  in direct consultation with the Dalai Lama.  These stamps were officially recognised by both the UPU and the Indian Govt,  (where the Tibetan Government is based) until protests from the Chinese Government forced them to be disallowed.   Examples of these semi-official stamps do exist on cover and are extremely rare and command high prices.

 7.  AAT unofficial though postally valid m/sheets, and the famous 1954 Australian Antarctic Territory forerunner Cinderella to the issued postage stamps.  This is coming up to 50 years old,  and is always sought after.

 8.  Unauthorised, illegal sets and forgeries from Tchad,  Niger Turkmenistan, Tajikistan & Kyrgistan - 13 complete sets of 5,  issued 1998.   Great topicals,  and don't laugh,  these sell for a few bucks a set.

 9.  NZ poster stamp sheet.   This is an absolute beauty.  10 huge labels, printed in 4 colours in 1948,  with printers imprint, in large sheet of 7" x 9".   These are in SUPERB fresh MUH condition.  In 20 years as a dealer have never seen these before.   Each stamp shows popular tourist scenes around the South Island of NZ.   See website for photo of this one.   Half Century old items like this are always popular,  and I saw this EXACT sheet in a dealer shop last week for $40.   Tourist scene "PALS" labels and the like from Australia readily fetch many $100s per sheetlet.  A sheetlet of these in every parcel.

 10.  Antarctic Helicopter Mail self adhesive labels/stamps - popular area.  Used on mail carried to and from the Cape Roberts Project, a multi National drilling project in Antarctica.

 11.  Mint full gum reprint of the 1919 Ross Smith England/Australia first airmail vignette sheetlet with margins.  This sells for $20,000 as the genuine issue,  and is the premiere Aerophilatelic stamp ever issued from this Asia/Pacific region.   Many "Seven Seas Stamps" printed albums have spaces for this sheet,  hence demand is high,  even as a reprint.

 12.  Official Greenpeace Antarctica $6 mini/sheet depicting Penguins, seal etc.  Produced by Greenpeace and funds raised went to Antarctic Research and global environmental efforts etc.   Retail $10 each.

 13.  TWENTY different and complete se-tenant sets of 6 stamps issued 2000 from Angola,  the Unitas rebel held territory which comprises approx 10% of the war-torn country.  These issues have been sighted used on cover to countries outside Angola and appear to have passed successfully through the International mails. These are SUPERB looking topicals as you can see from my website scans, and have surprisingly good retail due to their appearance and unusual background.

 14.  Official Qantas charter flight to Antarctica overfly 50c Airmail labels in sheetlet of 8,  which were affixed to flown covers in singles.   The singles are elusive,  and full sheets are quite scarce and always keenly sought by aerophilatelists.   Only 25 on hand, so pot luck on these!   Retail $40 a sheet.   These very low level tourist flights were cancelled after the disaster when a NZ 747 Jumbo plane crashed into Mount Erebus losing all souls on board.

 15.  Australian stamp exhibition overprints on valid issued stamps.   Also Exhibition sheetlets etc.

 16.  Reprints of the Australian 1930's 3d unissued Blue Mountains Essay.  Printed 4 colours in sheetlet form, and is a good seller at about $10.  Depicts "The Three Sisters" famous geological formation.

 17.  Range of complete sets issued 1997 by Buriatia, a province of Russia.  These issues are strictly locals,  and regular Russian stamps have to be used on mail travelling internationally or to other parts of the Russian Federation.  Great topicals/thematics here.

 18.  Official NZ PO "Black Print" Die proof sheetlet of the $1 circular Kiwi stamp.

 19.  The hottest item on the regular stamp market - tossed in as a REAL extra bonus on this offer!  The "Australia 99" IMPERFORATE Navigator set 6 in mini sheet pair superb Mint unhinged.  These had only 15,000 sets ever produced,  the smallest number of anything sold widely by Australia Post in Decades.   The new Scott 2002 Catalogue has this set has a $US 32 retail ($A65).   Scott 1727d/1728d and I understand Gibbons will also dramatically increase the price in their next edition.

www.GlenStephens.com/Sept99Text.html has photos and detail on these and an official letter from David Maiden, head of Australia Post Philatelic outlining the tiny numbers sold.

 etc, etc ..... there are all sorts of other odds and sods tossed in but too hard to list out here.

 ================================================================

 No parcel will be identical which goes without saying,  but will include pretty much all the above,  or very close to it,  and other items,  and will ALL be well worth the $US50 cost, I promise you.   On some items I have only 10-20 pieces, and of some I have far larger quantities.  For anyone who feels they may like to buy extra stock of any parts of the parcels,  like the Hutt River or Rattlesnake Island,  or Angola Unitas Rebel stamps etc,  please le me know.  For some of these I can make you a wholesale lot offer.

  The first 25 orders will also get a NZ "Birds" Specimen PO pack of Birds set 6 to $10 - face value $N.Z. 25, issued for 'NZ 1990'.  Superb MUH -  SG cat £7.  For  the first 25 orders (one pack per customer)

  The price again for all of this is only $A 95,  or less than $US 50 right now,  or £33!

 I know there are many dealers, re-sellers and folks who will want extras for swaps,  eBay sales etc,  or just to "tuck away"  so will offer FIVE of these parcels for $A 400, which is around $US 200 today.

 GST is not charged on overseas orders,  but must be added for orders mailed to an Australian address.

 All postage and insurance is extra as always.  There will be one of two flat rates whether you order one or five collections - $A15 ($US 7.50)   Registered Airpost ANYWHERE the world using the very large Australia Post International Satchel.   For those of you in Canada, NZ, Europe etc with nasty VAT/GST taxes and customs hassles etc,  these whizz pass customs/vatmen etc  without incident in 99.999% of cases in my long experience, as they are supposed to contain printed matter only,  (which stamps are!) and NO value needs to be declared on the outside.

 For ALL orders in Australia a flat $A5 will cover Registered airpost ANYWHERE in the country.

 Much of this has a very strong thematic/topical flavour and includes themes such as :

 Animals, Birds, Gorillas, Elephants, Sports, Aviation, Locomotives, Cars,  Flora, etc etc etc
